Services are provided on a project basis or through ongoing consulting arrangements as mutually agreed upon in writing.

2.3 Service Access Requirements

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Data Provision

Clients are responsible for:

• Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and appropriate format
• Providing necessary documentation about data sources and collection methods
• Obtaining required approvals, permissions, and ethical clearances
• Maintaining data security during transfer and storage
• Informing us of any data limitations or quality issues

3.2 Project Communication

Clients must:

• Review deliverables and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
• Notify us promptly of any changes to project requirements
• Maintain regular communication throughout the project duration

3.3 Payment Obligations

Clients agree to pay for services according to agreed-upon terms, including advance deposits where required. Payment schedules and methods will be specified in individual service agreements.

4. Service Availability and Modifications

4.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain consistent service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Service availability may be affected by:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Technical difficulties or system failures
• Force majeure events beyond our control
• Capacity constraints during peak periods

4.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services
• Update our methodologies and analytical approaches
• Adjust pricing structures with reasonable notice
• Change service features or capabilities

Active projects will be completed under the terms agreed upon at project initiation. Significant changes affecting ongoing projects will be communicated in advance.

4.3 Geographic Availability

While primarily serving clients in Cyprus and the European Union, we accept projects from international clients subject to our capacity and applicable legal considerations.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Client Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to data and materials you provide. By engaging our services, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing the requested statistical services.

5.2 Analytical Outputs

Upon full payment, you receive rights to use analytical outputs, reports, and deliverables for your stated purposes. However, we retain:

• Rights to our proprietary methodologies and analytical frameworks
• General knowledge and expertise developed through the project
• Rights to use anonymized, aggregated insights for service improvement

5.3 Website Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding client projects. We will not disclose your data, research questions, or findings without your written consent, except:

• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights or defend against legal claims
• With your explicit authorization

Confidentiality agreements specific to sensitive projects can be arranged upon request.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatWorks shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from client misuse of analytical outputs
• Decisions made based on statistical findings
• Publication rejections or unsuccessful research outcomes

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement:

• By mutual written agreement
• For material breach of these terms after reasonable notice
• If continuation becomes impractical or impossible

Upon termination, payment will be due for work completed to date. We will return your data and materials while retaining copies as required for our records and legal obligations.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Limassol, Cyprus. Both parties consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in these courts.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of disagreements or disputes:

• We encourage direct communication to resolve issues amicably
• Formal mediation may be pursued before litigation
• Alternative dispute resolution mechanisms may be agreed upon

We are committed to fair and professional resolution of any service-related concerns.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For ongoing projects, terms agreed upon at project initiation will generally continue to apply unless significant changes require renegotiation.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
